A Director’s Cut

What people ask

  • Director’s Cut is a filmed mirror — a space to pause and see yourself as you are. It’s about noticing your own patterns, presence, values and impact.

  • No. It’s a lasting self-reflection tool: something you can learn from in the first instance and then return to in times of change, challenge, or renewal.

  • Leaders tell us this is most powerful at moments of transition — leaving a role or taking on a new one; navigating turbulence or crisis; leading transformation or merger; shaping culture; reflecting on legacy.

  • You decide. All footage is stored securely with strict confidentiality. Your film can serve as a mirror for you alone, or as a way to frame conversations with others. You may choose to share it with colleagues, with a coach or with your family.

  • We will work with you to find a time and place that fit your diary. We use a central London location, but will travel to you if you can provide a quiet, focused environment where you feel at ease.

  • Occasionally there will be an opportunity for those who wish to deepen their learning by comparing notes with others. We shall collate a short film, which will be screened at a Première attended only by those who have opted to have their own clips included in the edit. The screening will act as starting point for a facilitated conversation and past experience shows it can act as a perfect environment in which to forge valuable peer relationships.

  • Chris Grant OBE and Chris McLeod bring decades of experience across boardrooms, elite sport, strategic and operational leadership. Their approach blends facilitation and filmcraft, influenced by the pioneering films of Nic Askew.
